We have made the switch to larger refillable bottles & recyclable amenities vs.
miniature plastic toiletries to reduce our plastic footprint & waste in general.

Amenities are all Olive Era carefully chosen to reflect our ethos of supporting
local, high-quality products. 

All amenities’ bottles are disinfected thoroughly after each guest’s departure.

We have joined forces with Clean Blue Paros to help reduce detrimental plastic

waste in our beautiful Aegean Ocean. Their #drinktapwater campaign aims to

promote the safety of drinking tap water in place of purchasing single-use plastic

bottles.

Contrary to popular belief, Paros Island is blessed with natural water sources that

are well cared for with mineral levels well below the EU safety standards so is

perfectly safe to drink.

Tap water in Paros is monitored constantly by the local water supply company

DEYAP & we at Mythic Paros have performed private tests with an external

testing company to ensure the safety of tap water. Please enquire at the Front

Desk for Detailed Report from Tsakalidis Analysis and Testing Laboratory.

We encourage you to use our tap water to stay hydrated & use a refillable bottle

as an alternative to purchasing plastic.

Just in case you are not ready to drink Tap Water, we have installed filters on our

property, providing 9 x filtered water for you at Mythic Paros.

We have installed these at the Pool Bar and Restaurant Bar.

We are committed to this cause and are creating our own refillable bottles for
you to keep! Fill these up with filtered water and bring them with you while
exploring lovely Paros Island. Take it home with you as a reminder!

Bottles are thermos double wall stainless steel 18/8 so will keep the water
refreshingly cool for 18-24 hours while the island day warms up!

We donate 10% of every purchase to a local clean water initiative,
Clean Blue Paros.

We are on our GREEN JOURNEY and taking steps to improve our sustainability
practices.

Other areas where we are taking steps to improve our practices:

• elimination of plastic straws
• recycling kitchen waste
• recycling of coffee pods
• limiting of paper with QR code communications
• using Bio-packaging for deliveries & takeaways
• team uniforms designed following sustainable practices, ethical sourcing
• use of eco-friendly, hypo-allergenic washing detergents to reduce water
• contamination

However, we are not perfect yet and are constantly improving our practices.
